by going on a leave of absence. He may get better, and they don't change coaches right before signing day. Also, gives them time to find another coach at a much slower pace.

I think Meyer was beginning to realize that he was not going to have all of the say...and his staff was about to be dismantled.

A guy like Stoops comes in...it's : " clean out your ****, I have a new crew coming"

If Meyer had his say about what was going to happen, he would have put one of his guys "in", and been gone.

Just my opinion.
