And put it on the Dawgzillatron. Is there a reason they can't do this? I'd probably give it a shot if they did.
They need to allow the students to bring ice chests and I think alot of people would show. Hell I would much rather drink beer and watch the game outside on a huge screen than watch it in a bar. I usually offend some family eating when I go to the bar and watch State play anyway.
I'm sure the AD would like to encourage fans to attend the away games, but if they did this and didn't charge people to come in and watch then I don't think there would be anything illegal about it. With that said, I think a much better idea would be to put a big projection screen in the Union or somewhere on campus and have the students that are around gather to watch in one place.
Someone should throw this idea to the Student Association and/or CAB. They could make this a yearly event, pick one game on the year, and have a student night at DWS. Look the other way when it comes to ice chest.
