Thx Tom- He is such a super-impressive young man. When I think of myself at his age, he’s lightyears ahead of where I was. Hell, he presents better than me now. So proud to call him a Penn Stater.

I agree. He seems like such a nice guy that it’s hard to imagine him getting fierce on the mat. And MMA? He’s too nice a guy. I can’t see him submitting someone. If he did, he’d help the guy up, make sure he’s okay, pray for him.

The amount of talent at Penn State starts to become worrisome. These guys all want to be World and Olympic champs. We’ve got world-class talent at every freestyle weight, and then we’ve got world-class talent on their heels. Carter, Aaron, maybe Roman, Nick … even McIntosh perhaps. I’m probably missing someone.

Carter’s interview is up as well. The only thing to worry about with him is burnout. I don’t even think Muhammad Ali had Carter’s confidence.

I wish the Flo guys were better interviewers. One question I’d love to ask Carter is who wins when he and Aaron go at it. I’d love to see how he’d handle that one about his buddy and seeming equal.

I have to add as well that when all these guys talk about being Olympic champions, it drives me batty that there are only 6 weights. And unless they expand Greco and Women’s to 10 (which ain’t going to happen), it’ll be 6 for awhile. Just a shame though!

Also, what did Carter say at one point? Something about him practicing with Taylor and then losing to Marsteller, he says as if there was absolutely no way he should lose to Marsteller. I think that he believes that, currently, it’s only acceptable (barely) to lose to Taylor and, maybe, God. But give him another year… And Casey’s getting old? Hilarious as well.

Who do you think wins? I view of the two of them going at it like Rocky and Apollo at the end of Rocky 3. Assuming equal weight (although I’m sure Carter wouldn’t care), I’m taking Aaron by the slimmest of margins. That’s a match I’d pay to see. It’s been mentioned before, but could you imagine the interest in an internal Nittany Lion/NLWC dual? How about Taylor vs. Snyder as the headliner?
