I know some will be smoking their meat both in the kitchen and in the privacy of other parts of their house.....

I am going with Crockpot Chili with extra japapenos.....start around 8 or so, and then it should be ready around 1 or 2. Like they say....chili today, hot tamale.
Sipping on coke or diet coke in the afternoon, and depending on the game, and my mood, will imbibe in some Blanton's....

Making some 36 hour sous vide Danish baby backs for tomorrow. Will probably separate into 3 rib portions and deep fry to finish. Macaroni salad, Publix baked beans, and lots of Yueng drafts.

Deep fry to finish.
I'm intrigued. You done this before? Tell me more.

If I had oil out, I started finishing sous vide steaks that way because it was easy and took 45 seconds. Turns out I really liked it. I tried it w/ a rack of ribs awhile back and really liked that too. Just sauce after the frying.

My son will be home from GVSU and likes his pot roast with veggies. Put an arm roast in a crock pot early morning surrounded by potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and a couple of jars of tomatoes out of the garden.
Tomato based gravy and life is good.
Nope it’s not your typical game day food, but we will like it!
😁

Cornbread with that chili?

I’d toss a few jalapeños in that as well and then top with butter and cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking.

I’m making an Italian omelette

Eggs-Potato-Onion-Peas-parsley-grated cheese-salt & pepper

Approximately 3/4” thick and the size of a large dinner plate.

Tell Barney and Andy we said hello.
Oh, North Carolina. I’m reading about Frederick, Maryland and then thought it was Mount Airy, Maryland. It’s going to be a long day, good grief.

Grilling a picanha on my green egg.Basically smoking it to correct internal temp (medium rare) then fire up the grill to 600 degrees sliced down into steaks and sear each side about 30 -50 seconds on the grill and voila perfecto

Pierogies, Kielbasa, special sauce. Don't flinch now, eggnog and bourbon.
