Let me start my disclaimer......any time i talk about my picks in an online forum, i win about 15% of the time, and that has held true this year, so take this with a grain of salt....

actually, last week, in college I went 1-6, only winning the LSU game on thursday nite....so I pulled a career first, going 0-6 on saturday.....<facepalming>.....worst saturday ever.....and then, on sunday/monday....I had another first, in nfl....7-0.....first time that's ever happened as well....

I've done very, very well betting on MSU games.....

so here's a few I like this week:

MSU -18....up to -19.5 now....will cover 24-28

love Pitt +6 at home against ND....now up +6.5.....I think it will go up more...

UF -18 over UK on the road....now up to -19......I watched both UF and UK last week, and UK is just down right awful....looks like an early crooms coached team....and UF is better than everyone gives them credit for....however, I do have one head scratcher on this game, I noticed the power rankings having UK +10 only, and a definate edge to UK against the spread....I just don't get that, and power rankings this year have been more accurate than I have seen them in years past.....FWIW....PR have MSU winning by 28 as well....

but again, read my disclaimer about when I post games I like online....its usually when I keep my mouth shut when I do some good.....

who ya got?</facepalming>

I am not sure we cover the spread vs LAtech.. They almost beat Houston, who is not a bad team at all.
I think we win, but may not be a total blowout...

I like
BYU -2.5
UGA -9.5 vs Bears
UF -19.5
LSU -5.5
OSU +3.5 @ A&M
Auburn -33.5

ark +12 @ bama (don't see bama demolishing them and they will run if they get a lead);
uf @ +19.5 uk (just too big of a number despite how bad uk is);
lsu -5.5 @wvu (won't be lighting up the scoreboard vs. that defense);
vandy +16 @ usc (sc passing game still not there and won't be against one of nation's best pass defenses).

I am thinking texas tech won't do -20 vs. Nevada but I don't know much about either.

I also took GA at -10 and BYU -3 but not too sure about those. My only problem with Arkansas at +12 is they gave up 457 yds to Troy and the game is at Bama this week. Just not sure enough about that one.</p>

but Vegas likes to let everyone get a little comfortable and loose in the first 3 weeks before the plus(es)/minus(es) starting getting aLOT bigger and the picks get harder to get right. I will be making only 1 play this weekend...and it will be for the entire season's winnings-to-date! Win or Lose I am done for the season. Granted I know it's a big number but I just don't see how it won't be covered by halftime.

I thought about Auburn minus the points but passed, and am really tempted to take Ok State +3 at Texas A&M. Ok State has been really good to me so far this season, but looking at the scores I see TAMU has also been winning big. Still might go for either AU and/or OkSt.

close to 40 pts in each game.....I think AUs offense will be the best offense they have faced yet......on the road, at night in Auburn.....AU coming off big loss on the road...

Fla ATl's offense is so bad, that I think AU could even stop them....

they will cover 33 easily.......I'm actually thinking this may be my big game of the weekend....

anyway for me.
i did pick LSU -7 and Georgia.
Stayed away from Bama game - will know more after this week. I find -11.5 maybe just a tab too much know realy know how bama plays against bigger offenses.
Think I will jump on the Cincinnati game.

I'm liking the Cincy pick more and more as we get closer but still not sure that I'm going to play it. Also would beware of the USC/ASU play there... this to me just had sucker-bet written all over it. Erickson usually has his troops ready for big games. This ones at home and I just don't feel like USC has completely drank the Kiffen Kool-Aid. I know ASU has not played as well as they were projected to date but they have all the tools for sure!

Under 54 Georgia @ Ole Miss ( I don't see OM offense scoring many points at all and Georgia won't put up more than 35)
Florida -19.5 @ Kentucky (Florida is by far the best team in the East and Kentucky is downright terrible)
Under 50.5 Vanderbilt @ South Carolina (Vandys D is much improvedthis year however thisline worries me the most)

Let me hear how stupid I am

Florida State's defense is for real. This line is all out of wack with Florida State getting points. This is the ACC opener, so I don't see a hangover from the Oklahoma game. Clemson is a young team and while their offense looked good, it was against Auburn's defense. I believe Florida State will win by 14 +. <div>

Tripled up on Cincy last night so I've started ahead. <div>
</div><div>Added a double amt. for UCF +3 (bought 1/2 point) at BYU tonight. I don't like picking visiting teams, but I think UCF is a better team and BYU is way down on themselves after getting shelled at home by Utah. Plus, UCF has the #1 passing defense so far this season.<div>
</div><div>As far as parlays/teasers, I won a two team teaser a couple weeks ago, but I don't think I had ever won in my 3-4 previous tries. But this week's just look so tempting and I'm ahead enough over the past month to play with some, so I went a little nuts:</div><div>
