As I'm driving past Exton Park the farm field on the left had the Biggest Bald Eagle hover over the area. The wingspan looked as big as Wilt Chamberlains arms when outstretched.

Got the biggest smile on my face. Majestic. Only other time I saw in the wild was at Kinzou Damn in McKean County, looked like its darn nest was 100 sq ft.

If you are ever on that road keep your eyes peeled open.

Shalom

I saw one a little further north a few weeks ago. Driving past a farm field near Lionville where the corn was cut down and there’s a deer carcass about 100 feet from the road. Perched on top was a bald eagle. First I’ve ever seen in the wild. Wonder if it was the same one since it was a few miles from where you saw one.

Something died behind my house last summer and it attracted a bald eagle. I got a quick photo. It was funny because I looked out there due to the vultures circling, but they all made a wide berth for the big boy. He had his fill and then the vultures got their meals.

Vultures should be our new national bird.

A couple nest along the Potomac in Great Falls. Like spotting a unicorn.

I live in West Chester off Ship Road near the Exton Mall and have seen a Bald Eagle for the first time here a few weeks ago - maybe the same one = very cool.

I love how my sighting was thousands of miles from everyone else. The only other one I ever saw was in the forests of northern Wisconsin in the winter.

We have a pair at Lehigh Country Club near Allentown. They had eaglets, two I believe. You can see the adult clearly. If you look a little right you see the juvenile. They don’t get white feathers for 2-3 years.

I had one fly across the hood of my car on West Leesport Road in Bern Township a few years ago. It's the only time I've seen one in the wild. They made a huge comeback here in Berks and specifically Hawk Mountain. I believe we have around 700 now. If you ever want to see more just come up to Hawk Mountain near Hamburg.

Living in Naples, SW Florida, a pair of Bald Eagles on the golf course of Marco Island is very common. Having walked beneath their nest and within 50 ft - they are beautiful - my only problem was, I had my golf club in my hands, not a camera.

The other common bird here against the Gulf shoreline - Osprey

full grown male - and not friendly - note the talons....

pretty common here in southern Wisconsin, especially along the Wisconsin river. We garden in community y garden called eagle heights and the very first time were there with our new plot 2 bald eagles doing courtship flight were right over head, maybe 20 get up. Was really cool.

I have a place at the Jersey Shore and Osprey nest and birds all over the place - love sitting on the beach watching them pluck fish out of the Ocean - some pretty big fish they can barely fly with.

I know that area well. I lived in Guthriesville for 13 years and I drove Swedesford Road all the time on my commute to Berwyn. I remember the old one lane wooden bridge over the railroad tracks. What a bottleneck until they built the 2 lane bridge.
