This is just a natural progression of things until a judge says no.

I'm curious what prevents NFL players from suing to get reperations based on the salary caps being far larger now than they were in 1982?
Those NFL players signed quid pro quo contracts. Do/did NCAA players sign contracts?

The member institutions, they were the idiots who gave the NCAA the power to do anything. I can’t imagine the number of lawyers and their staff members going through all this stuff.

Almost all did not. I'm guessing some schools do private contracts. Bama, etc

Legally this is a blank page dispute between two entities with no legal agreements whatsoever.

It’s a bit shocking how long NIL has taken to happen given how many NCAA football college athletes go on to become attorneys

What about the former players that become greed agents? It starts at the top and all these coaches seem to be actors out there trying to get the biggest bag.

Now you see players being their own agent. Cut out the middle man. For sale by owner.
