Look, when you are consistently mediocre and incompetent you are usually fired from your job. Time for Franklin to go
Don't disagree, but are you writing the check?Look, when you are consistently mediocre and incompetent you are usually fired from your job. Time for Franklin to go
If I had $72 million to burn, I’d bring Ruhle home in a heartbeat. I’m just tired of gimmick football that seldom works against equal or better talent. Why I was praying he would take one of the jobs he was mentioned for last season. While Ruhle didn't pan out in the NFL(No QB) he was the guy I wanted. Sadly don't think he was ever truly in play and only screwed us for even longer.
Ms. Death&Destruction. First Cal, then PSU.Sandy Barbour:

I've been hopeful that Franklin's revolving door of offensive coordinators would settle down as I think they need stability there, but to your point, MY hasn't exactly impressed. I'm curious how much Franklin is involved in playcalling. Will MY get any heat for this performance? As much as we complain about Franklin he seems to be the CEO asking his guys to do their jobs. Franklin fired KC for MY and I am not sure what advantage he has brought to PSU. MY’s offense looks predicable and slow. Zero use of the TE’s, fades that never work, etc. Very unimaginative after a bye week and a second year in his system.
Why because he sucked at Carolina and one won championship in whatever league Temple played in? Franklin deserves the blame today for not having his team ready with a bye week to prepare but stop with the Rhule nonsense. If I had $72 million to burn, I’d bring Ruhle home in a heartbeat. Unreal that her boss would let her sign that contract, especially since she was on her way out.
Yes, and they both reacted in the middle of the season because Franklin lied about being a leading candidate for the USC job.wasn't her boss Barron, who was also on the way out?

Barbour and Baron didn't sign Franklin to the new contract. That was pretty much the result of a very high ranking member of the BOT who was responsible for the $90 million deal. B&B were lame ducks with two feet out the door and they weren't going to interfere. It was time for them to go cash their pensions.Yes, and they both reacted in the middle of the season because Franklin lied about being a leading candidate for the USC job.

Vs OSU, MSU, Um and the top ten he is not even mediocreLook, when you are consistently mediocre and incompetent you are usually fired from your job. Time for Franklin to go
At the very least, he'd fly a kite over the middleMaybe we could offer Ben Franklin the job, at least he’d air it out instead of running it up the middle all day long!
Actually, it’s the defensive coordinator playing against the Steelers. Matt Canada is in a class by himself. And proven AGAIN today…..the easiest job in America is the Defensive Coordinator playing against PSU.
Ericsson, Onion Dip, and Sandy are probably the three must grotesquely incompetent people to ever get a paycheck at Penn State. Barbour was a pure box check hire - a complete and utter incompetent with a long career capped by catastrophic failure at Cal and Penn State.Sandy Barbour:
It is an interesting question, but it really does not matter. The buck stops with Franklin in either case.I've been hopeful that Franklin's revolving door of offensive coordinators would settle down as I think they need stability there, but to your point, MY hasn't exactly impressed. Fair enough. I’m still tired of “not having his team ready with a bye week to prepare”…happens far too frequently in HV.Why because he sucked at Carolina and one won championship in whatever league Temple played in? Franklin deserves the blame today for not having his team ready with a bye week to prepare but stop with the Rhule nonsense.
And he has got 72 million reasons to leave and find a sinecure coaching job, if he wants to keep busy and avoid an accountability reckoning from fans who expect to beat the big dogs at least 51% of the time. He’s got 72 million reasons working in his favor to stick around. Or put another way, Sandy screwed us royally!!
5-1, kids. Chill the eff out you Nancies.Look, when you are consistently mediocre and incompetent you are usually fired from your job. Time for Franklin to go
half of all the teams which played today lost.
The other half won?I don’t get it.
The other half won?
Have you watched this team get pushed around again and again and again? All this fire Franklin stuff is just stupid. USC lost, Bama lost, ND lost - half of all the teams which played today lost. When OSU plays Michigan one of them will lose as well. Fire all of them, they didn’t do their jobs. You posters sound like children. Yeah Barbour missed a lot of tackles today - blame her. Oh I forgot - she made them at Purdue and Auburn.
