One more question for Bruiser. What ever happened to the OM player that allegedly got into to trouble weeks ago, but the info never came out? There was at least a day worth of speculation posted on Nafoom and some over here.</p>

Actually, I am great friends with askew, de, and Jim.. Yes, more so with de and Jim bc I played baseball with them.. But me and lavunce were really good friends too.. And yea, he knows it isnt just up to him and petrino has a say so in it.. But I guess we wi have to wait and see.. Like I said, I hope it doesn't happen

I hear enough about those SOBs. So, I don't visit their message boards. But, I have not heard anything on the local sports radio about a transfer to State.

Brandon Mitchell had an offer from us last year. He was listed as an ATH on Rivals but is a QB on the Arkansas roster. Anyway, he is 6'4, 220 and runs a 4.5...would be a nice target for Tyler Newton to throw to.

Two new post but won't say who. Some other guys meantion Jim Youngblood and Tyler Wilson. The guy that started the tread is getting hounded but seems to be confident. His new post. alright first off, im didnt start this thread to seem cool or to act like I am in the know..I have never been one of these guys to post much about all this stuff. Yea, I get alot of inside info, but i never post it b/c of crap like this where everyone bashes me. I was told not to say any names of who it was and I am sticking to my promise. if yall dont like that, then im sorry. And for all you people saying there is no proof to all this and everything then well, believe what you want but i have my sources and when the source is the kid himself, id say its pretty reliable..again, i didnt say this was going to happen..i was just menitoning that a kid is really wanting to transfer to miss st to try and start there. bash me or him all you want, but i was just trying to let people know

Rosebowl has "heard" that you guys are getting a DL transfer that your staff wants to keep quiet for now. That makes me think the poster on the Ark board has his Mississippi schools mixed up. Surely we aren't both getting a DL from Arkansas.

Is transfering in football like basketball where the coach can decide where a player can transfer? If I was Petrino I wouldn't want a player transfering to a division foe.

I don't know if it would happen either. If they did not release him from his scholarship he could pay his way the first year at state while he sits and then get a scholarship.
