Some great times at the Southernaire ... they'd sell beer to anyone with money, regardless of age. Then gals from the W would show up and the good times would roll.

Silver Spur on Friday night and the Southernaire on Saturday night. Every. Weekend. It was a great time to be alive.

That place and the pug buckle…. Damn I miss Echols. The old man was my academic advisor as a pledge. U had to get him drunk and get drunk with him 5 times before he would sign your name list. Hell of a juke box too!!!

A local business man here in Columbus bought the sign and has it on display at his camp house
What I've heard he and his wife had their first date there and he bought it and put it up. Man can you imagine the brownie points this guy got!! ha
