I am not a better. I will put $20 on a game if I'm in Vegas which has only been twice.

That said, you could have made some serious bank on our mens team. We were even getting points (which surprised me) the past two games we have won. If you put $1k on each game vs the final line, just guessing you would be up well over $10k?

Well, there is still a lot of money to be made (and a lot more to lose) in the NCAA tournament. There will always be some big surprises, but finding them ahead of time can be difficult. Gambling is a pretty bad investment strategy (my PSA for the day).

It’s always been an option for players to gamble - and especially easy for them the last two decades. What’s changing that would bring it down?

I actually think them being paid might actually de-incentivize gambling. They don’t need to try and game the system to have some cash now.

They NOW have money to gamble where as before they didn’t. This money could allow them bet on or against their team.
