Game 1 MVPs

Before this game, after drinking blue cool aid, I picked the O-line and Tig Brown. Neither played exceptionally (ahem) well, although I had no problems with Brown's play.

Post game, I would go with Barney on special teams, Clifford (hard to argue with 6 TDs - 1 running, 4 passing, and the puke 6 - and the drive at the end), and JPJr on defense (even with the dropped INT and the PI penalty - he defended a ton of passes and recovered the fumble).

Who would you select?

Not sure he could beat out Cliff for MVP but Tinsley looked great and Strange had the long TD and the assist on pushing Cliff knot the EZ. He got more of a push than some OLinemen in the past 5 years.

A lot of candidates, Clifford (obvious), Tinsley, kicking dudes, but I’m going with a DB that actually saved the game for us when it looked like we were cooked on an open out pattern pass, DaQuan Hardy’s pass breakup was vital to the comeback. Purdue completes that pass and it’s all over. Honorable mention goes to KLS for redeeming himself with a key catch, spin from contact, and run away from defenders for a TD.
