In the replay from another angle, I don't think Sellers touched him. I think he's angry because he had air and opportunity in front of him and stumbled.
The announcers and the guys at the national desk dont seem to think so. If no contact, they need to clean this up and show it again. Kinda a big deal.
My thoughts so far…and it’s only one really. I still have hope it will get better, but what I’ve seen in Sellers so far is very concerning. Knew we’d drop off a bit after losing the most talented QB in our history…but Sellers looks like that WB that can run and throw the deep ball. That’s it. Hasn’t displayed any touch so far. Hasn’t found the open guy so far. He’s a RA Freshman, so not shocked he’s not a seasoned guy. And as I started, I’m still hopeful. But this has gone about as bad as it could early.
I don't feel great about a QB wearing that looks like he's wearing goggles. That's just not something you see at this level.
Yeah hope Beamer can draw up some new plays... Just kidding!
If anyone here is old enough to remember Paul Lynde on the old Hollywood Squares, he'd have a field day with that question, regarding whether this looks like a well-coached team.
He’s mad because of the delay. These guys think they are in the zone. He just broke a good run and he’s out there acting ridiculous because he wanted the 65k in attendance to know that if Lightning didn’t stop the game, he was about to show out.
He looked like a little child. He didn’t react that way until well after the play. He wasn’t upset with Sellers. He’s just throwing a bro tantrum.
