No moral victory when you should have been ahead by 20. The refs were trash, but they can only affect a close game.

Blindside blocks are a PF. And he lit him up. The QB was not going to make a play and all Kennard had to do was stand still.
Didn’t look like blindside to me. They were facing each other and he hit him in the front. And Nussmeier was moving toward the sideline where the play was heading.

All he had to do was be in the way. Refs had already shown you can't light that QB up. Kennard kept looking for ways to lose.

We play the way we're coached. Erratic, inconsistent, undisciplined, and ADD.

Should fire Beamer and go for Saban. He's miserable at that desk.

Man I absolutely love the blitz but when you've been doing it most of a half, you might want to consider that the other team may be ready for it in the second half.

Not only was the opportunity there, but it required considerable effort to blow said opportunity. This is impressively depressing, even for us.
As I've said elsewhere, we actually lost the game in the latter part of the second quarter following the blocked punt. What we didn't do that we could have done between then and halftime was more than the difference in the game. We had the chance to knock them out right then.

I said at the time it was stupid of us to take the foot off the gas on defense. We started the ensuing LSU drive rushing 3 and trying to play coverage. We let Nuss sit back and get a nice, easy, big completion to start after he and his O-line were rattled. I would argue that’s where the game changed.
