Gamecocks Upset Kentucky at RUPP !!

Pretty wild. UK isn't exactly the caliber they usually are...not close. But, still, you go into Rupp and get a win and that's legit. Couldn't have had more polar opposite performances between Saturday and tonight.
They had a 28 home game win streak. Emphasis on the had part.
You see this happen when players get embarrassed like they did against Tennessee. The team either collapses or responds positively in a big way. It's a sign of good coaching when they do what they did tonight. Kinda like football with the Florida and Tennessee games. Even talented competitors have a bad game. But when they do, they often come out the next game with some fire.
Often works the other way around too. They have a great game, and then lay an egg the next time out. That was what was so impressive about the Clemson win this year. They followed up a great win with another great win. That's not easy to do for a team that is rebuilding. Hopefully Paris will be able to build on this win to salvage some of this season.
Seeing UK's loss to us being described as a "new low" and "sobering".
Never expected this with the thrown together roster we put together. Glad to admit how wrong I have been. Frankly I did not expect an SEC win certainly not Ky. In Lexington. Congratulations to the coaches and players for the surprising reboun.
