No need for another rant...there is no excuse for winning less than 6 games in 2008. None. We'll see what happens

At what win total are you satisfied? 8 wins? 10 wins?

I think we've already seen your strategy for dealing with another successful season -- "What do you expect? We had 11 seniors starting! 16 returning starters! 2009 is the real test for Crooms."

i'll be disappointed if we dont win 8 games with the team we have returning and this schedule. But if we win 6 and are in another bowl, there's not much we can do about it- Crooms will be here another 4 years.
I would really like to see some offensive improvement. Thats what i'm looking for the most. With the talent we have on D, we could have a really good year with some offensive improvement.

And for the record, I wouldnt care if Crooms is here another 10 years if he would have just a decent offense. I agree with most of his philosophy, he is just way too ultra-conservative for me. At some point offense needs to become a strength rather than a hinderance.

the thing for me is i would like for the offense to at a MINIMUM not be a hinderance. if we are mediocre in offense this year and as good as last year on defense, then i believe we will have a fun season to watch considering our more favorable schedule. i hope to see a couple of years of improving offense and then see the offense become a strength. this seems more realistic to me considering we haven't broken 100 yet with Crooms. if we get better than mediocre sooner than my expectations...even better...but i am not putting any stock in it at this point.
