Damn that is a long article. I don't have the attention span to read the whole thing. I saw Dan Reeves on a flight between Atlanta and Dallas years ago. It was probably in the late eighties or nineties. I remember he had a neck like the Hulk. I believe I have one of his Cowboys football cards. I bought it somewhere because of his Carolina connection.

My uncle's first wife worked in the athletic office when Dan was playing here. My uncle came home one day early for lunch and found his wife and Dan shacked up in the bed. My uncle grabbed his gun and ordered the pair out of the bed. When he saw it was Dan Reeves, he put his gun down and ordered him to leave. Shortly afterwards my uncle divorced but held onto his season tix for the next 40+ years.
