A few thoughts:

Hubbard needs a slump buster in a bad, bad way.

The flagrant foul rule seems idiotic. Wouldn't that mean every time a team intentionally fouls at the end to force free throws it should be throw freebies and the ball?

Instant replay remains an exceptionally obnoxious tool and this crew relied way too heavily on it. Yes, we benefitted from some of it, but it should be either used incredibly sparingly or not at all.
1. Yeah. He's struggling. And I'm afraid it may be more than a slump and more that teams have figured out how to force him into bad shots and shut him down.
2. It should be called much more often when teams intentionally foul. But you've got to at least make it look like you're trying to play the ball. That was as blatant as it gets. And needless. Just let him drive for the dunk and we get the ball on the inbound.
3. These refs were horrible. There's a place for review, but you can't just review every single 17ing possession. Last 7 minutes of the 2nd half and OT took a freaking hour. For 12 minutes of basketball. They're making a joke of the game.

If you were smart enough to understand the ignore function I’d recommend it to you. But I can’t post in crayon.

I’m not upset dubmass. At all. You just suck at reading comprehension.
You lack self awareness man. You were bitching about it big time. You never celebrated what was an absolutely huge win at all. I’d hate to be you. I enjoyed this big win! I’m not ashamed to say so either.

I’ve got my theory on that call. Remind me what the spread was.

How are we supposed to take “It was a win but it felt like three losses?” I know you had to delete all the hot take posts you had ready to go as soon as the buzzer sounded, and I’m sorry about that. But we beat our ranked rival, who was in first place in the SEC. It’s a win that feels like a 17ing win!
Only one kind of people thought that felt like a loss.

So you are recommending people ignore you. If I were you I would too.

17 man, this thread is more unhinged AFTER the win than it was during an incredibly close game.

Many here are like the women in a Taylor Sheridan series.

In other words, like women in a grittier, better produced soap opera, since that's what Taylor Sheridan makes.

Tuned in very late and only caught the overtime and the last minute of regular time. We played very well against our rivals. They are much better than I gave them credit for initially. We are almost screwed up and let them back in the game but thank God we won in overtime. I'll take it. The SEC is crazy this year.

Yes, one would think so.

There’s a difference in reaching out and touching a guy on the arm or waist in an obvious fouling situation and grabbing a guy in a bear hug as he’s driving to the basket. There was no reason to foul there anyway. I’m still aghast at the sheer stupidity of that foul. What was he even thinking?

No disagreement whatsoever from me, but I feel like Murphy deserves co-MVP recognition. 18 and 11 on 8-12 shooting, and he had a few critical close range baskets down the stretch when the rest of our offense couldn’t seem to get anything going. We don’t win last night without both of those guys stepping up

I’ve been trying to think of an equivalent occurrence in another sport since last night, and it’s honestly hard.

Like only needing to kneel in the final seconds of a football game in order to end it, but instead of that, the QB fumbles the snap, allowing the other team to recover. Then, he proceeds to get flagged for targeting on the tackle, giving their opponent one last play to win. It’s all I’ve got
