..because I simply thought a waiver (or release.. or whatever)... meant that a player could go on scholarship immediately somewhere else. They have to sit 1 year regardless. Guess I was mistaken.

See above, there are plenty of examples where Ben didn't show up. Phil Turner had ONE good game while subbing for Chokesbrough, Kentucky.

Go 2 hell Chokesbrough AND Thatlonghairedguy!!!

I am not surprised. There were several games where he looked totally out of sync with the team, especially toward the end of the season. I could see him going to St. Louis. Rick Majerus (sp) seems like his type coach. I just dont see him fitting into the up tempo Missouri program.

I am thinking the same thing Ram. You could see the disgust on Hans face a few times this year when Jamont took a bad shot. Not that I am siding with Hans or the Delks for transfering. However, I imagine when Jamont leaves the transfers will stop.

I am thinking Jamont let it known he will back next year or he will test the waters and maybe come back. Ben decided not to take a chance and went ahead and left. But if the rumors are true Hans' mom sold the house. The decision was made a while back.

I hope Jamont comes back.

alot of these transfers personally. Delks, Irvin, Jackson, Sharpe to name a few. Ben is ok but if his ball handling skills are suspect, his defense is half ***. When he is hot from the field he is hot but I would not say consistent. He would have turned into a consistent shooter. With Barry at least, he is very good defensively, better than Gentle Ben at ball handling, but needs a lot of work of FG (Alot). If Jamont comes back and plays 2 and Barry improves any and runs PG, I think we will be ok. The trend is disturbing, but p#%%Y Ben needs to realize that while Jamont is here it is indeed his show, whether we like it or not. I would rather have Barry and Jamont, then Barry and Ben if Jamont is indeed staying and I think he will.

Good lord, I know I just didn't read that. I've spent countless, wasted milli-seconds watching Randy be 15 feet off his guy, get a "newsflash", and then dive with a limp arm toward him as the 3-ball goes in. Both Randy and Ben would have difficulty cupping the Delk's graginas when it came to defense.
