Why in the hell would they do one for a junior? A whole year left of high school they could change their minds 20 times between now and then. Have they always allowed juniors.

We’ve really screwed all this up. When it was a February NSD, crootin was fun.

We started messing it up by adding a December period rather than August. It’s now completely meaningless because half these guys (literally) will be in the portal. I mean it’s totally pointless.

Recrootnik sites better start pivoting big time to portal only, and figure out a way to get some type of equivalence. And that’s hard to do because normally a portal player should be rated less than a high school guy, but you can’t guarantee a HS guy stays 4 years.

If someone wants to innovate, they need to start putting overall 1-year ratings to a team…..not a class. In other words, don’t rate the class, rate the whole team on signing day. Experience weighs into a players rating. Signing classes are dead for all intents and purposes. You can still get clicks by talking about impact guys or something, but the days of caring about high school signees is over. These All Star games are dinosaurs.

I've heard too much from the guys like rosebowl that's these kids chance at the moment. Maybe 10 years ago. Now these guys change schools like they change clothes. So it doesn't mean squat. They will have 4 or 5 more moments. Especially if they are only a junior
