He hadn’t lasted long at Magee and Scott Central (1 & 2 seasons respectively) and was let go at Franklin County before even coaching a game— and in his second season at Heidelberg.

It's crazy how often in these videos people are so confident they are about to whip somebody's *** and then last about 3 seconds and are completely helpless. He was probably waiting on someone to hold him back.

Ha no kidding. Football coach looked excited to go whip some ***. From the little bit of video, it didn’t look like he got to whip any ***

1. Fights in the 'Sip happen at Sonics.
2. Never, never, never get that close to someone you're having words with unless you have a plan, stay more than arms length away.

There are some places in MS where you don't even consider that kind of crap. Wayne County is one of those places. He should've known that.

Agreed… if I’m somewhere like Wayne county and a guy in the football stands tells me he will whip my *** in the parking lot, I’m probably going to believe him and just keep my mouth shut the rest of the game.

George Costanza beat his ***! There's nothing more manly than two fat old balding white dudes fighting at a HS football game. Apex predators.

When we fire Leach after homecoming, I want to hire this guy. Love the intensity.

If you make it to the parking lot he's going to pull a chainsaw out of the bed of his pickup or a shotgun off the gun rack in the back window of his pickup truck. Either way you would be scattered throughout Wayne county by sunup

Damn, clicked through to the picture of him getting escorted out and he looks old to still be doing that ****. I guess as long as you have a pulse you can get a job as a high school coach at these small schools?

Excuse my ignorance but if you are there to scout another team, do you really want to wear a shirt with the name of the school you are representing? Wouldn't you want to blend into the crowd?

I thought the same, but when you have the ego of many of these type guys, you probably don't think that far ahead.

I've seen coaches scout before & they typically wear clothes/colors associated with their schools.

He's also in the Wayne County section and was scouting Quitman who the Oilers host next Friday.

There is another angle that goes back a little further. He was literally screaming at players and coaches saying "they getting *** kicked by a 4A school". He was obviously on something. IT was either roid rage or cocaine I really couldn't tell.

No. Scouting is not frowned upon. There would be no reason to hide what you are doing. Especially since you he was sitting on the home side.

Dude is all over facebook pulling a Cannizaro at like 60 years old. Not really surprising. Lot of these guys out there coaching football too, that "I'm gerna WHOOP yer ASSS!!!" mentality is still very prevalent in MS high school ranks, AND unfortunately the youth football circuit.

As the football coach approached, the other guy lowered his head, giving coach the perfect opportunity for a high knee or a kick to the face.

However, coach wasn't ready and didn't really want to fight. Once coach lost his balance, it was o-vah.

Tip of the cap to the other guy, he had some punching skills.

Looks like he won games at both places. Says a lot when you're a winning coach and can't get a job any better than Heidelberg.

I doubt they are that worried about another team knowing they are scouting them. I doubt many high school coaches are going to have the ability to do anything in game to set a trap for a later game (and to the extent they can, they probably just assume coaches are going to watch all their game tape from that year).

And probably more importantly, I suspect a lot of high school coaches wear their team colors a lot of places because it's free clothing and they don't want to buy additional clothing just to avoid wearing their team colors. For all of our coaches in high school, I don't think they wore anything but school colors or a suit for the most part. Even if they were at something that was nice enough to require slacks and a collared shirt, they were probably wearing something with a school emblem on it.

Scouting is not as necessary anymore because of Hudl. As a coach you can get as many game game films as you want for scouting. The only benefit you could get is to see their tempo, how they operate, or signals.
