DuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhGood news! He now has a better chance of becoming a solid draft pick in 2024.
I wish him the best!
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
No kidding sherlock. It's the *ONLY* reason he's coming back. No NFL team is going to pick him. He would have gone undrafted and he knows it. Why? He sucks. Period.
You sound just a bit jealous.Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

He beat the amazing Clemson D. And I am not joking. The Clemson D was/is very good!! There is, no doubt, still room for growth for Rattler. But I believe you saw a glimpse of it last 3 games. But it is as much the team around him. If we only run 62 yards a game, Freakin Arron Rogers would struggle back there with everyone knowing pass is coming. The O-line has to step up. WE also need Ahmarean Brown back. I know he is undersized, but he can stretch the field with his speed. The same effect Curry has on a basketball court. Run him straight down deep opens up short and mid middle a bit more. Or let's get one more stud receiver. 6"2" range who can fly. You know, a Stephon Diggs type but bigger and stronger and faster. Not asking for much here!!!
The arm talent is there. The field presence has a ways to go to catch up. Another year in college can't do anything but help him.![]()
He's serviceable, and I'll leave it at that.
YIPPEE!!!!! <sarcasm> He's a horrible QB.
Are you an alcoholic?Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

We really had no SEC caliber RBs. It may be the weakest position on the team.Yep. Fixing the run game is an absolute priority. We were very nearly last in ypc in the SEC. That has to change. Somehow.
Would he be a graduate transfer? If not, he'd have to sit a year on his second transfer. It's a favorable development for the program. For him, transferring again would have been almost as unrealistic as coming out for the draft. This was really the way to go.
Depends on the coaching.Hope he's dialed in right away instead of waiting until game 10!

He could get around it by playing the hardship card, as Fields did when he left Georgia for Ohio State.Would he be a graduate transfer? If not, he'd have to sit a year on his second transfer.
Thought Fields did that before the transfer portal...and also thought that the one time free transfer was supposed to replace the hardship transfers because people were getting upset as to who was getting them and who wasn't. Could be wrong but that was my understanding. He could get around it by playing the hardship card, as Fields did when he left Georgia for Ohio State.
Dude!!! Really? Based on what? I guess you didn't like Clemson getting beat or derailing Tennessee. That comment sucks bro.Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Actually, you were right. The NCAA routinely granted waivers for the second or more transfers. Had forgot about JT Daniels until I looked it up. But, and its a huge BUT, the NCAA is fixing that....more than one transfer is now going to have to meet specific criteria to be eligible for immediate playing time.He could get around it by playing the hardship card, as Fields did when he left Georgia for Ohio State.
Well, that's as it should be. It was likely bullcrap when Fields did it.Actually, you were right. The NCAA routinely granted waivers for the second or more transfers. NCAA makes change to college football transfer portal (msn.com)
The portal was not in effect, but I was not aware that the latter canceled the former, either. I can't imagine they would wipe it because of the possibility of a legitimate need.Thought Fields did that before the transfer portal...and also thought that the one time free transfer was supposed to replace the hardship transfers because people were getting upset as to who was getting them and who wasn't. No. I just know a scared QB when I see one. DL breathes hard on Rattled and he freaks out - sometimes takes off running downfield - and even once fumbled while literally no one touched him. I stand by my words. He's a horrible QB. Breathe on him wrong and he falls to the ground. He has no situational awareness at all. Will slide 3 yards short of a 1st down when there's not a defender within 20 feet of him. I've never seen another football player play so scared in all my life on any team. Are you an alcoholic?
Another kool aid drinker I see. *STAY INSIDE FOREVER* ...... you're free to do so after all. True or false? <true> Move along now .....Said by the same person who “implied” Damar Hamlin’s heart was injured the other night due to the Covid vaccine not by his body colliding with another football player.
If he was a horrible QB, we'd have never sodomized Tennessee, beat Tillman at their place, & the Gator Bowl would have been a blowout loss.No. I just know a scared QB when I see one. Fair enough. I'll change my words. > He hasn't learned a single thing since his days at OU. JMHO.If he was a horrible QB, we'd have never sodomized Tennessee, beat Tillman at their place, & the Gator Bowl would have been a blowout loss.
I made similar comments earlier in the season but I have seen a change in Rattler which has made me reconsider. There were TD runs against Clemson and ND where he showed no fear and sacrificed his body for the TD and a stiff arm on a TN CB for a first down which showed me some resolve which had been lacking. His arm strength and quick release has never been a question. A little more elusiveness in the pocket and awareness before sliding when he scrambles could be improved.No. I just know a scared QB when I see one. Fair enough. If in his final season next year he plays like that / like his career depends on it - We should win 8-9 games again fairly easily. Glad to have Rattler back and I like the occasional switch to Joyner for a different look which I hope Loggains put to better use.
