Fair enough. If in his final season next year he plays like that / like his career depends on it - We should win 8-9 games again fairly easily. We have got to get some RB's though.
Agree, RB will be a key piece on offense along with OL. Also, a lot young/unproven guys will have to step up on defense.

We lured one away from Newberry. We're in great shape!
I'm not sure if you're joking or not. I'm also not sure if I should laugh or cry if true.

I swear if I'm OC / HC .... I'm gathering my OL/DL in a meeting and asking a simple question. "Who wants to be the next William Perry?" "I need 2"

i-formation, with two 300+ lb backs in there behind QB. One leading blocker /FB and the other at the RB spot. Hand off straight up the middle every time. Stop this........ Especially the quick FB handoff with the RB being a "pusher" ... it's 3-4 yards every time no matter what the other team does. Sure it's more like a rugby scrum but I swear to you I'd win games. That is the object. Completely baffles me why no OC does this.

Force the other team to put 8 in the box and when they do > quick slants or 1 on 1 deep balls. This is not complicated. It's really really not.
