Are you alive? Have I missed a statement from you giving us any confidence that you are in control and care about the dismantling of our athletic program that you are now directing?

I’m not confident that a midwesterner who played at Wake f’n Forest has any clue about southern fanbases in the SEC, and just how much all this means to us. I can 100% guarantee you that I’m not the only one who feels this way. This all means more to us than any BBQ sauce means to your family….. let that sink in.

why not tell the people that you are just as concerned as we are and working day and night on our path forward? I think you’re going to see real soon that your job is on the line, and that’s not something anybody wants to deal with. Do Better!

You want the dreaded vote of confidence?
Or the AD to undermine the sitting football coach? That's not going to and shouldn't happen.

The AD should be working out a plan with the president and major boosters while giving coaches feedback in private. This is a behind the scenes job until a decision is made (which ought to be firing Arnett at the end of the season and positioning us for a competent hire).

Please direct me to any instance where an athletic director has released a statement outside of a team starting like 1-8? We are bad and changes need to be made, but come on. Are you really begging for a stock press release to say "We aren't happy"?

Also, Oklahoma - known for not taking football seriously

His wife posts plenty of pictures of them as a family on the field before a game and in their box during A game.

How much did Byrne say in late 2008? If I recall correctly, he made a statement about Croom being fired, then a couple of weeks later he anno7 coed Mullen’s hiring. EXACTLY what a good AD should do. There’s a reason we called him The Ninja and we all loved him for it.
Byrne was everywhere, and was in constant communication with the fan base. Selmon is a more polished version of cohen.

Selmon is way more visible to this fan base than Byrne was. And by way more, I mean "a **** ton more and it's not even close." I don't understand all these absurd Selmon takes. It's pure ignorance.

Do I wish he was firing arnett today? Absolutely. But until he does that, he's not going to be having any press conferences telling us what he's thinking. No AD in the country would so I don't know why you'd expect more from ours.

He needed to say something earlier in the season. Something to effect that he knows people aren’t happy but he is sure that this coaching staff is working day and night to correct. Whether it’s the truth or not. Just something anything to the fan base to encourage their continued support. What’s so wrong with that. Ghost Selmon

They want him cutting wrestling promos yelling at the camera that he’s going to do something about it.

Can you provide an example of another AD that has done that?

He said virtually that exact thing directly to me at the western Michigan game. Buy a ticket, walk up to him, and introduce yourself. He'd love hearing from you.

I have Six season tickets and have been at every home game this year. And haven’t seen him anywhere. And I spend a lot time at the fence field level photographing my granddaughter that is a cheerleader. I’ve not seen Selmon anywhere. But if I did I’d dang sure ask him.

No! Why does somebody else have to do it before we do?
Now you’re just being ridiculous. That’s just not something an AD is going to do or say in public or a press conference.

That’s like saying coaches should call out players by name during the week that didn’t do something right in a game.

That's strange because Drebin also spends most of games photographing cheerleaders

Then you aren't looking. There was literally a photo of him on social media with cheerleaders last night.

If I was Selmon my first priority would be seeking out the money folks in the sky boxes and such and glad handing them right now. He's probably gonna need their support in a big way pretty soon. Then I'd come down and smile for the camera in the time I had left.

It’s apparent that most people bltching about Selman’s ‘silence’ are out of staters that don’t come to games. So you guys are talking about social media in essence.

And of course people mad about not firing Lemonis. Which is stupid.

I haven’t made up my mind on him, but it’s obvious he was hired for NIL. Name of the game is fundraising. We will see what he does after the egg bowl.

Again, all I ask is to bltch about real things.

Selmon was on the field last night during the various introductions. First time I have seen him but we did miss a couple of our home games recently.

Weak-a*ses!! I don’t go to a message board to cry like a b*tch girl that Mr. Selmon is unavailable to you. I just e-mailed him my opinion of the football program to this office. His e-mail address is listed at the AD’s website. I said that the offense seems lost and this has been that way it’s gone since game one. I also told him that our head coach doesn’t seem to put his stamp on the program in the positive way Coach Leach did.

I think Selmon should start a panel of various former and current SEC coaches and host a Zach Arnett roast, except Arnett’s only statement at the end is his resignation.
