I can't imagine we keep the few fans we had this year if he is back.
Our AD isn’t concerned about fans. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’ll keep him.
Regardless, Frank isn’t even finished this season. We’ll be in the NIT. I hope I’m wrong.

Let’s see how Beamer turns out. I remember the euphoria when Champ won 9 games. I was one of the few voices that said wait. Beamer though is a little different. There is a glimmer of hope.
I don't think I understand the linkage there, but I believe the first part of that equation isn't likely to happen soon anyway.
The bigger question is whether or not "they" will allow the AD - whoever s/he is - to do their job and not interfere.
Someone who isn’t a jerk that can recruit, coach and make the program interesting and fun again. In a country of 330MM, I’m confident there are plenty.
I believe he means the new AD won’t come in and immediately fire people. Likely true. I recall Hyman coming in and after being stunned that we had no master plan, and learning he’d been misled over our finances, he spent about a year getting a real feel for the place before making moves. New AD will probably do the same unless he’s hired with a mandate to immediately reenergize virtually the entire Men’s side of the department.
Ray Tanner isn't going anywhere. If Martin is fired he will hire the replacement with input from Chance Miller. I'd say it is 50-50 on whether Frank is fired or not. He has some powerful allies and he has an 18 win season behind him. But that SECT loss was devastating. That would get most coaches fired. Miss. State lost by 13 to UT yesterday.
Whether or not I agree that this is the best approach, it's the most likely one to happen IMO..
