Also, with regards to another one of your posts, since when did changing the speed limit constitute a number retirement? And it's not our fault that our douchebag AD named LT refused to retire numbers. But it's not because we didn't have someone that wasn't worthy- like Johnie Cooks, DD Lewis, Joe Fortunato, Jackie Parker, and Keefer McGee among others.

He was no archie, he was supposed to lead them to the promised land but he didn't. It seems when ever an ole miss fan talks qb they bring up archie, they just can't get out of the past.
Granted MSU won the West the year they went but isn't the Cotton Bowl as good as either of us have done? Yes we were vastly overrated this season and didn't meet expectations but 3 NYD bowls in 7 years is a pretty good achievement for either of us. Honest question how many NYD bowls has MSU been to since segregation? I have no clue how many Ole Miss has been to, and I doubt it is much more than the 3 we have been to in the past 7
I mean, it wasn't on NYD either. Also, it's now played on the same day as the Cotton, which is not NYD.
