Prolly more on the side of sixpack fact. The guy that fit me for my glasses also did the same for Richard Williams. The eye guy is the one that told me it wasn’t an injury and that Clary has been practicing with the team. I’m assuming he got that from Williams.
Seriously. Each time his name is mentioned, someone says he is injured and that is immediately followed with 'no he isnt'.
He is either injured, suspended due to something, or not playing because of attitude/effort.
I haven't seen anything that would confirm either of the last 2.
If he’s not, fans deserve to know that paid to get him here.
It seems like this may be the case. The glaring hole it presents combined with the fact there’s not much said about it from the staff or the announcers… something is up.
This was my guess. Decided he didn't want to use a year of eligibility as the 8th man in the rotation
If he quit, wouldn’t they just come out and say he quit? They did when Andrew Taylor quit last year. Doesn’t make sense for him to have quit, and they cover that up by saying it’s some sort of injury.

Well if he isn’t hurt and is still with the team, this must be one helluva lesson Jans is trying to impart.

If he had quit I guarantee he wouldn’t be on the bench or in the locker room during and after games. The other night he was standing at the end of the line to give the final high five in the starting lineups before they walk to refs and shake their hands.

I hope he comes back, he can help but Auburn is down players too. If this team is going to make a really deep run, they don’t have to win tonight vs a weakened #1 Auburn but it sure would be encouraging if he does come back at some point because they are better with him than without.

You think Jans would allow that to happen? I don’t think so.
I don't know what to think. I'm certainly not ruling it out. Especially considering that some alumni close to the program paid this kid to play. I'd assume a coach feels that pressure and hangs on to a kid longer than he should.
What was the timeline of the white boy we had last year?
He was off the team by conference play. That dude has issues, he has about lost it on social media.
The real fact is that nobody here has a clue what is really going on.
Football is a different situation. I think that was an obvious mistake letting him stick around also, but he's one of 85 on the football team. Sticking around after quitting on the team shouldn't be as big of a distraction or influence on the guys.
But also Jans is in a good position, Lebby isn't. If a guy wants to quit mid season to preserve a redshirt, Jans can afford to send him packing.
I don't have any inside info, so I could certainly be wrong, but I would be shocked if this wasn't either a nagging injury or a suspension.
Has Jans been asked about Clary in any of his interviews? I haven't seen any lately, so I genuinely don't know. Just seems like an obvious next step for someone to ask him. I know he won't give a direct answer, but if he says something generic or doesn't mention an injury... we might have our answer.
I guess he is one of these quiet quitters. Like folks that retain their job but just quit doing anything.

Did Melendez leave Georgia because attitude problems? Did Claudell Harris leave Boston College because attitude problems? Did Kugal leave Florida because of attitude problems? Just because you leave a school doesn’t mean you had issues. Shak Moore was a model player for us for a few years, and he left and went to Kansas. Sometimes they offer more money or a player just wants a change of scenery in their final year.
I can say with 100% certainty that this situation is a no-go under the Jans administration.
