Love it here and amazed by how many northerners are moving to FL/GA/SC.... literally insane. Can't beat the lifestyle year round. No state income tax and friendly inheritance estate tax.
How do parents let their daughter go out dressed like this? So irresponsible, and possibly dangerous.

My girl cant wait to get out of NNJ. Are the 90F dog days of summer unbearable? SIL is buying beachfront in Bonita Springs and my wife is starting to think FLA. Do you have a boat?
I live under a mile to the beach so I get a sea breeze year round. The air is always moving which keeps the temps cooler and feels cooler when outside near the pool. To tell you the truth you get used to it. We get warm days but a lot of upper 80s and right around 90. 6 months of winter are just beautiful. We have a boat used it mostly on a fresh lake right off the beach. Other friends of mine that live on the intercoastal have boats we use for pleasure cruises or fishing etc. Its such a healthier lifestyle. Love it here, was just back in PA for 10 days and man it is depressing. Hardly saw the sun at all. Was so happy to walk off the plane into 78 degrees and sun.
Not really it's more of a discussion on how people from NJ don't use tongs when handling food and we in south florida use tongs to handle our empanada's.
