I was making more of a commentary on the SEC being worse than advertised than anything positive Arkansas is actually doing.

This. They aren't super talented and won't have any stars light up someone for 35 points. They just play much harder. It's often ugly basketball. That's the only reason they win.

They do all the little things right. Play great defense, rebound, and make their free throws. They also have role players step up almost every game it seems like. Devo Davis has been horrible all year and in the tournament has been incredible. Their transfers are playing elite defense and knocking down threes with a lot of great penetration and kicks to wide open looks. Also they have an awesome leader in Jaylin Williams.

Arkansas went about the entire month of February with the #1 ranked defense in the NCAA during the long winning streak, or very close to it. Similar team to Texas Tech, hard-nosed defensive-minded team that is tough to watch at times offensively but eventually seems to wear teams down and pull away late. It's definitely not pretty but fans seem to undervalue defense, more to it than just playing hard.

Notae needs to be better than he has been lately if Arkansas has any shot at beating Gonzaga though. Hogs need him to go for 30+ like he did against Kentucky. Umude needs to be hitting his threes as well.
