How many remaining games will USC win?

It doesn't look good. Only Mizzou and Vandy look like probable wins, but even those are looking more like tossups now.
If the Missouri that played against UGA shows up Vandy could easily be the only win left.
I think we're about even with Vandy right now. So far our seasons look pretty much identical. We both have 3 wins over cupcake teams, one crushing loss to a top-ranked team, and one convincing loss to a good team.
3 more wins to finish 6-6 but not sure which 3. My guess is Vandy, Mizzu, and A&M.
Why is everyone so low on this team all of the sudden? We kept it close with the #16 team on the road, and lost to the defending national champs... We BLEW out our other opponents as we should and we're sitting exactly where most thought we'd be right now. Why any of you patsies are saying 4-8 or 7-5, is beyond me. 8-4 is still VERY VERY within reach...
If I had put a finger on it, Arkansas is no longer even ranked, the blowouts were not domination from start to finish, and Arkansas was the 6th or 7th win in a lot of peoples eyes.
Then there's the unquantifiable "eye test" which shows us struggling early against patsies before pulling away, and looking completely outmatched by the conference opponents, both ranked and unranked.
Kentucky will be a big test, as a victory there SEEMS to be the only path to bowl eligibility at this point.

Probably because UGA made us look like a JV squad on our home field. Also, Arkansas is now unranked with a record of 3-2.
I wonder why some posters call themselves Gamecock Fans. I go into EVERY game with an expectation and hope of winning. My heart would not allow anything else!
Unless I balance expectation with reality - my heart can't take it. Surprises are always welcome but not always expected!
So the threshold for being a Gamecock Fan is to keep giving money and don't ask questions as to why we've slid so badly over the last decade?
I would say there's a big difference in hopes and expectations.
Yes. Our "blowout" wins look decent for the final score, but it took us until the 2nd half to put two of those games away. We held slim leads against Charlotte and Georgia State at the half. Even against SC State, we managed only 8 first quarter points. We just haven't looked impressive yet, even against our cupcakes.
Texas A&M is vastly overrated. Georgia just played a very bad game against Missouri. Vandy has no defense. Three more wins.
We have a history of beating a team then coach is fired, Aggies would fit that equation

As others have pointed out, Arkansas isn't that good and they still dominated us. The final score was only as close as it was because of a garbage time TD against 2nd and 3rd stringers.
Honestly, I had forgotten how bad a&m looked so far. That could mean UK would be the 7th win, not 6th.
Bit I have concerns we can sweep vandy and Missouri even.
A&M and UK are both quite beatable this year, but teams always seems to figure it out for our game.
I voted two. Vandy and maybe we get by another. Not sure it will be Mizzou tho. I feel like we've been inconsistant with an occasional good play on offense... so im thinking maybe we have one Saturday where we play out of our minds more than we dont and get that second win.
Like always I'll go into every game hoping we will win. I'll sit in front of the TV hoping to see something a little different from the team, some spark that says to me "this looks like the offense is putting it together".

That is supposed to be commendable. This poll isn't about being commendable.
We didn't just lose to the defending national champs we were destroyed. Other teams have played UGA( Kent St Mo..) them much closer. I want us to win but my eyes see a story that tells me reality. That reality so far tells me we aren't very good at this point. I've been a Gamecock fan since the early 1960s so don't question my loyalty. I'm loyal and love USC but that doesn't change the fact this team doesn't play very well. Ky. at night after they suffered a disappointing loss tells me they will come out ready to get back on track which could lead to another rout. I hope not.
