To put the potential rape, pillage, and plunder on the original network tomorrow, but couldn't even muster up a few innings of live coverage last weekend, on any ESPN network, when we were sweeping in ATL.... We better show up and put up more of a fight and not embarrass ourselves in front of a national audience..

They are showcasing what is perhaps the best college baseball team in the US this year, the UF.

More motivation for our team to show up, and not have the major debacle we suffered earlier, this afternoon.

But, Florida is playing at the level of a really good minor-league team.
It'll take all the Co-Jones our guys may have to reface on Saturday.

didn't get to see how well we played last weekend but have been shown today's game highlights over and over. It would have been nice to get more pub last weekend. Mississippi State hasn't had a lot of national publicity and recognition for athletics in recent years and it's always nice to get a plug when you do something nice.. They better show up tomorrow and battle...

are you really surprised the "sweet sixteen" is getting more publicity than the round of 64?Especially in baseball where 95% of the nation doesn't care until Omaha. It's about getting eyeballs to the screen so ESPN makes money now. They could give a damn about this sport really.

State has actually had quite a bit of athletic recognition nationally the last few years IMO compared to what i'm used to. Some of it has been good and some of it has been totally embarassing(Hawaii). Mullen has brought tons of attention to the football program by winning, but the $cam deal brought quite a bit as well. I know what you mean though, I hated seeing our score constantly in the right hand corner of the screen during the Texas game last night, but i really think just being in the Supers and being on ESPN is great for our program.

remember that this team was picked to finish dead last in a medicoree Western division. Just be happy that the nation is seeing our team play instead of only being seen regionally on the abortion of a network that is CSS.
