There are very few 5'11'' 170 lb receivers of the caliber of an Ace Sanders and I don't think he is in that category.The fact he took off because he could see he wasn't going to get enough PT here, whether it was due being outplayed by a freshman, a recent transfer, or whatever is a good thing, I don't care what some of you negative nellies say, LOL
I think Huggins -Bruce wants to start, and he wasn't going to here, and this past weekend, it was announced that wide receiver Caullin Lacy, one of Louisville's top incoming transfers and their expected WR1, would miss an "extended period of time" after suffering a broken collarbone on the final day of fall camp.
So he took off, good for him, he will play more there, makes sense.
He saw the handwriting on the wall after pre-season practice and made the right decision for him.
