We went cheap instead of committing to doing when really needed to be done. A Mississippi State tradition.$50 million to go from the 12th best SEC arena to the 10th (ish).
Can I get a Meh?

I knew they would F it up. The Banner M is in the wrong direction.
Actually I have been in it.You guys haven't even walked into the place yet, but you are hammering it without mercy........great job, that the MSU way!
exactly! What a waste of that money. This is a stop gap measure until the program gets better under Jans...why did this cost 50Mil?It certainly looks somewhat different with the open areas at center court but I’m just questioning how in world that cost 50 million.
It looks like they've poked some holes in the inner concourse walls to make it a little more open feeling. Somebody's been watching Fixer Upper...Mississippi State University Basketball

Yeah. I'm struggling to discern what is a suite and what is an opening from the concourse. Not to mention, how many people can actually watch the game from that perspective? No raised seating or way to get multiple rows.I thought the intention was to add a bunch of suites? I count like 3, if those are suites at all. Might just be open concourse.
Any close-ups of the janked up critical support structure that the sub-contractor damaged during "renovation" ?
Well, you know, we are the "people's university." The brand intimates a more "inclusive approach." Anyone is welcome to come to ... or through ... your suite and help themselves to your food and drink.Yeah. I'm struggling to discern what is a suite and what is an opening from the concourse. Not to mention, how many people can actually watch the game from that perspective? No raised seating or way to get multiple rows.
It wasn't a good basketball arena before, and it still isn't going to be a nice basketball arena after. You guys haven't even walked into the place yet, but you are hammering it without mercy........great job, that the MSU way!
For the 12 people that get to use it, that area is going to be great. 12 people, 50 million dollars. I hope they all threw in 4 mill each for that opportunity. /sAggressively mediocre.
I’m sure the club level will be nice, but most fans won’t be able to tell.
Did they include a huge one level island for the kitchen and paint everything white? It looks like they've poked some holes in the inner concourse walls to make it a little more open feeling. Somebody's been watching Fixer Upper...

Wait until you get a look at the LVT throughout and the matte gold hardware. Also, the staging is impeccable. Pastels with texture.Did they include a huge one level island for the kitchen and paint everything white?
Shiplap is where it’s at!could not tell from my view. we can only hope for shiplap bathroom accent walls
Improving, yes. But how improved is it? I think that's the question. Nothing here looks "lux".The common man will not see the money spent. There are areas in premier seating where the Big Dawgs get a lounge, better entry to the venue, and the better seats. This is Cohen. Before he left they made a commitment to improving the large donor experience. I remember him on a podcast saying this is the common trend in collegiate athletics.
