We won’t even recognize this team from a player standpoint next year.
Attrition it’s a coming.
Maybe some staff should go too!!

Hope they take the fans too. Ridiculous to think we are a natty every year team after winning our first and only.

At this point I'll settle for almost SEC competitive and the old college try

If offered at the end of the 2020 season, I would have taken the deal 100 out of 100 times. Reasons and bad breaks, mostly out of this staffs control, are well documented. Now they need to fix it.

We set an NCAA record for strikeouts last year. Pretty sure it wasn’t all Bednar, and our pitching coach had something to do with that.

MLB draft in 2019 and 2020 + general lack of roster balance in those classes between pitchers / position players + having to recruit marginally talented JUCO’s / transfers to fill gaps + 4 major injuries has us where we are.

It’s not that hard to follow the recruiting history. Nobody can clean up the **** Cannizaro left in the pitching department AND still have depth left over to cover for 4 major injuries, including one to the best pitcher in college baseball.

Canz left ****? He wasn't here long enough to screw this up and he wasn't the damn pitching coach either. Foxhall is the most overhyped and over paid coach in college baseball. He's literally developed nothing.

Bednar, Sims, Cade Smith, Houston Harding, Stone Simmons, Ethan Small, Jared Liebelt, etc. weren’t developed? Okay.

And Cade Smith is the only healthy HS pitching recruit from Cann that is still on the roster, even though 2019-2020 were pretty much his classes. That is a problem.

There has been something wrong mentally with this team since the start of this season. They obviously have no player who is the team leader. We were blessed for many seasons with great team leadership, beginning with Jake. He set the example that was picked up and continued with Rowdy and TA. These were players who lead by example, as well as verbally. They were dirt-bag players who played at 110%, ala Pete Rose.
