I’ve often wondered if football was just different/better, or if football just needed to adapt to the other sports and have playoffs.
I THINK it’s that football needed to adapt. Even if the regular season is slightly less meaningful.
Concur, but compared to EliteDawgs, this board is full of Elon Musks.
Everyone agrees that more playoffs for football is a good thing. Even still the regular season each games matters more than basketball. But it’s not just only that. The game itself is boring. The style of play now a days. It’s not just us, just in general.
The fouls kill me man. I still don’t understand the intentional fouls at the end, how are they not flagrant? Is this just a gentleman’s agreement that they aren’t intentional? I know that’s been around forever, but still.
But there again, I admit I’m ignorant on basketball. And the fouls seem worse than ever before. Entire game is free throws these days.
