I know Tebow's throwing motion is a little wigged out...

But are these analysts saying that he would be worse than some of the guys playing right now in th NFL? Delhomme is terrible, Quinn and Anderson are terrible, and Jamarcus Russell is Charles Barkley turible, just to name a couple. I don't think he's superstar material, but I think he could make a bad team better. He is very accurate, and throws hard. Big physical guy that can run also. He would be a very valuable QB for a team I think.

I dont think you'd ever see a complete reworking, but it could be altered.

is going to be a problem in the NFL. The windows are way smaller and they close much quicker. Billick basically broke down his two biggest weaknesses. He contrasted the Cincy QB's mechanics (ball shoulder high and quick delivery) and the difference in his and Tebow's long slinging motion and bad footwork. That might not seem like much at this level but at the next level it becomes an issue. Then you have the Florida offense where you have simple reads to guys in single coverage. He might be able to play QB at the next level but he needs some work. But they got Vince Young starting and playing relatively well so I guess anything is possible.

All I know is what I saw when we played Florida. One of my friends I was with at the game summed it up perfectly- whoever his QB coach in HS was, they need to be shot.

I think Tebow is a good runner, but in addition to his mechanics, I'm not sold that he has the arm strength to make it in the NFL. He has nights like tonight where he makes a few deep passes, but I don't think he can consistently do that week in and week out in the NFL. I notice that you never see UF throwing any deep outs- the pattern that the NFL uses to judge arm strength- and I think that there's a reason for that.

Also, as I said after I saw Tebow, I think he is more a product of media hype and extremely talented skill players. You don't need a Drew Brees to use a Percy Harvin effectively in college. When we played them, Aaron Hernandez made some absolutely incredible catches on some balls that would have been incomplete for most people.

This may sound weird, but I'm not sure that he can handle the media criticizing him. Case in point, after our game which was a bad one for him, he basically ran off and hid. And then he's crying after a loss to Bama. Plus, he is very protected at UF, and that's not going to happen in the NFL.

Also, he has a history of having concussions, which is not something I would want a QB prospect to have coming into the NFL. And then there's his mission work, which as a Christian who has done Mission work myself I agree is a good thing to do, but is a NFL team going to allow him to skip mini-camp to go hang out at an orphanage in the Phillipines? How are his teammates going to respond to that? Especially since he does have so many issues that he needs to work on. There's a time and place to do Mission work, and he needs to understand when he can do that and when he can't at the next level.

Now, I do think he has some value in the NFL as a wildcat QB- maybe someone like the Colts take a flyer on him to use him as an occasional change-up. But people are talking about Vince Young- well it took Young how many seasons to become an effective QB? That's the thing about the NFL, they want people that can come in and play right away. And just because Young worked out after awhile, there's no guarantee that Tebow will turn out like that. To me, that's a rather risky long term investment.

I think he ends up being a late first round pick to a team that has very few holes- like the Colts- and an established QB where he will have time to develop as a QB. Ultimately, I think he ends up being a role player in the NFL and probably will have a nice life replacing Craig James on ESPN or doing some cush job at the University of Florida.

He gets drafted by Jacksonville, and the media pressure forces the HC to start Tebow from the very beginning. That would pretty much destroy whatever pro career he might've had.

Best case: Drafted by Dallas, where he can succeed Tony "Little Staubach" Romo after he leads us to a couple of Super Bowl championships, and then take over as the greatest QB on the greatest franchise in all of sports, playing in a stadium with a hole in it, so God can see his favorite team play.

Denver could certainly use him! Orton is just OK, and Simms behind him is terrible. After looking at Jay Cutler the other night, Tebow would be an major upgrade for the Bears IMHO. I'm not a quarterback coach, but certainly coaches on the next level could help with his technique.

If I were a GM I would want him on my team for more than his athletic ability - the guy is a superb human relations story. And I would want to be his agent. Can you imagine his endorsements?

I see him easily as a 2nd round pick - maybe late 1st.

I can see him as a b/u QB for a few years and used some on goaline situations
