for some of the super regionals but I`ve yet to see anything that compares to the scene surrounding a big game at Dudy Noble.</p>

Nice facility and big crowds. I want to see what Virginia has going for them and add them to the mix. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with UNC andFlorida's baseball facility, crowd, and atmosphere. Overall I think we have the best thing in baseball when we are winning and have a big crowd at hand at home. But South Carolina has surpassed us at this point in baseball until we get back to being a considerable ball club. I have a friend who has studied at USC and MSU during seasons where schools reached the CWS and he says you can't compare their home games and ours because the atmospheres are entirely different. They have great support and big crowds every day but the fun atmosphere generated from the left field lounge is non-existent

tailgating has evolved, other people have copied it, but no one does the Left Field Lounge like we do. Or any other variant.

crowds, while they may be very large, are more like a minor league game than college baseball.

The system has been in place since the inception of the Super Regional. Earn a national seed and you take the bidding process out of the hands of the NCAA and automatically earn your spot. We've yet to do that.

Our reputation and history got us a super in 07 due to upsets, but it's past time that we earn one on the field. Maybe this season is the start of things to come.

which makes what State and Ole Miss have that much better in respect to the college game. But it is hard for me to try and defend what we have at MSU when you see USC has averaged over 7500 fans all year, fresh off of a CWS title, and still on cruise control at this point in the 2011 season. Their fan support is outstanding and won't be falling off for a few more years at least.

I`m comparing these Super Regionals to ANY BIG GAME at Dudy Noble. We`ve had much bigger crowds with far more excitement at regular season games than most other schools can match hosting a super regional. Thanks for the tutorial though
