I still wonder why OConner pitched to TA…..

He thought his guy was better in that situation and got beat.

That's baseball.
Had a base open though, with one out. It's the one guy that can beat you, SEC POY. Even the announcer mentioned it. Let the next guy hit into a DP or something.

Just sayin'.

Like I said, he made a decision and got beat. The message he sent to his guys was that he was riding with them. You're not going to find a single coach at any level in any sport who bats 1000 on their in-game coaching decisions.

It was 4-2 at the time with guys on 2nd and 3rd. I don’t know many baseball coaches who choose to put the lead run on base. I get your thought process but Virginia had their closer in. Just an alpha vs alpha situation and thankfully we won. Not really a right or wrong answer there.

It would have been an incredibly big mistake at that time.
Don’t think so

I had former MSU players, a couple on the ring of honor, tell me that “word they got in their circle” was that he was getting fired - foxhall gets fired and they said hold that thought - the idiots are getting involved - then when it didn’t happen - bunch of damn idiots up there running that place

Thank you. In my opinion, which matters not at all, you are absolutely correct. We won. No one, necessarily, “lost”. A LOT was won in that AB.

I think our pool of replacements would have been slim at that point. But now…..I mean look at where we are. Bout to hire the guy who pitched to TA when he didn’t have to.

For all you bltches out there, of course BOC is great, but not everybody gets to add to the SPS lexicon.

Be better.

If we’re talking about micro managing then your hero Cohen taking Rooker out in game 2 vs Arizona as a defensive sub is more coaching malpractice. You don’t like the hire because Selmon will introduce him and you’ve already made up your mind about him

Pre-shitting is something you should always do before boarding a corporate jet, unless you like taking your poops in front of an audience that includes your boss.
OMG… Have you read “Straight to Hell” by John LeFevre? His story about having to take a dump on a corporate jet with peers/clients on board had me in tears! One of the funniest stories I have ever read.
