I have mentioned on several other threads that Doty needs some meaningful playing time( not just mop up) to gain some game experience and confidence. Not sure what was promised to Rattler, but it is in the best interest of the team to have Doty ready.

Joyner's been on special teams. His offensive stat line for the year (through Ky game) is -1 yds receiving against Ga.

His use is puzzling. I'm not saying it's right or wrong - only that it's puzzling. Certainly it does not indicate his having significant or remarkable talent, yet he won a big game for us. Puzzling.

Joyner was highly touted during spring and preseason practices - it is indeed puzzling and without explanation from Beamer.

I wouldn’t vote to sit Rattler outright, but could definitely see the benefit switching QB’s every couple of possessions.

It can keep the defense off-balance (with a different scheme), but also allow Rattler to observe the D from another angle and maybe pick up some queues that will help him out when he’s under center.
