If we can have a healthy Juice, X, and Brown along with Simon and Knox we can possibly win out. The young O lineman were playing well today. They will keep improving. The only chance we had today was a dry field. I knew the rain would send uga to the run game. I knew we likely wouldn’t win starting in the 4th but damn it seemed to rain hard when we had the ball and let up when they had it. Felt like no chance at about the 10 min mark.

It is what we do moving forward now……it’s time to take a step. No more screw ups or losing to teams like UK, MSU, Mizzou, etc. UT is not even close to last year. I wish we knew if Juice and Brown were going to be able to play much if at all. If not, time to accelerate development of Harbor and a few others.

I think it’s time to accept that we won’t have Juice for the season. All the hemming and hawing by the staff about the mysterious lower body injury, and now this in-game injury…..(or re-aggravation?)… next man up. I’m not expecting anything from him this season, which sucks immensely.

We have definitely improved from Game 1 as a team. Rattler is all we need at QB to be a winner.
We have good receivers, even without Wells, but it would certainly help to have him.
OL needs to continue to improve.
We MUST get creative in run game and give Anderson/Braswell the ball if that's what works.
DL showed improvement as did LB's
DB's need to be more aggressive as they are playing too soft to deny the receiver the catch.

That's my 2 cents worth.

Forget about Juice. So adjust your projections to something lower.

As of today, both teams we have lost to are undefeated and nationally-ranked (I believe that North Carolina is better than some thought). Yes, we have some difficult games coming up. However, I suspect that after this past Saturday's game "between the hedges", our opponents do not see South Carolina as an "easy W". I'm looking forward to the Mississippi State game.

It also may make them focus more on us and make it harder to sneak up on a team.

When all you've lost to are nationally-ranked teams, including making the number one team in the nation have to come from behind to win at their place.....future opponents will be more focused....obviously. That's a nice problem to have. I'd rather have that situation than the opposite where we played poorly against rinky-dink teams.
