Agreed. Between Satterfield and our OL, our offense has very little chance. We should be up at least 14-0.
If Beamer doesn’t address this Satterfield issue, he’s gonna lose the fan base. Everyone with any football IQ knows it. I’m quite sick of it. Satterfield is the biggest problem with this team.

OL has let some penetration though at times, but overall have played well enough for us to have moved the ball better than we have. Disappointed in the play calling and disappointed in Rattler’s execution.
That play call he read off almost sounded like a joke, it was so absurdly long and complex.
That was about as bad a half of offensive football as you will see.
Its modern football man. Offensive coordinators MUST show everyone how smart and brilliant they are by passing it. Anyone can just run it. Only super smart OCs can design cool passing plays. I seriously think it’s nothing more than that, OCs overthinking everything. UK could just run Rodriguez 4x in a row every possession and probably would have 14 points instead of 7.

I think Beamer had some words with Satt last night and there were changes made for the good. It appears Beamer has put him on notice so we will see how it plays out. Those who needed a win at KY to get on the train, welcome aboard! Let's get behind the team and coaches and see where the rest of the season goes. We are very talented and hopefully will gain some confidence from this game.
It was obvious on TV. Beamer lit up Satterfield - emphatically. After that, all that looking back and forth to the sidelines for 38 out of the 40 seconds on the play clock and people having to check wristbands repeatedly was cut way back. The offense got much more efficient thereafter. Even the TV color guy was questioning how involved our process was.
The play calling in the first half was baffling. If this is what it's going to take to get Satterfield to put the ball in his best players hands, changes are certainly needed at seasons end. We struggle to get the ball downfield. We need to live or die by the run, screen passes, short out routes, end around etc. Wells, Brooks, Brown, Bell and Loyd need to have the ball in their hands.
There was a noticeable change in our play calling after halftime. Whatever it was. we need to start doing that in the first half of games. If we had, we would have had a 2 score lead at halftime last night.

Not exactly sure what in Satterfield's past gives you any confidence in him. He doesn't have a stellar career as an OC and Rhule didn't hire him for a second go-round as an OC at Baylor and he wasn't Rhule's first choice at Temple. That's not saying much about Rhule's confidence in him. He also hasn't shown his offensive "brilliance" during his tenure here.
It is interesting the level of devotion some have for an obviously underachieving coordinator.

Has nothing to do with devotion and everything to do with reality. Our offense has stunk it up here for YEARS. Even under Spurrier at times. Not sure why anybody thought that was going to turn around immediately, especially considering obvious talent deficiencies. And especially considering that we play in a league with the rep of very good defenses.

They've just got to sit down and decide on a procedure that doesn't create unsettledness for our team on the field. Some people prefer not to see that the situation exists. Obviously the head coach saw a problem. It got better in the game's later stages, which is commendable.
A good defense needs a good offense. Satterfield sucks and that’s what is killing the defense. Under Spurrier, we were decent until he promoted Whammy. Beamer better not beg the BOT to extend Satterfield’s contract. Screw that arrogant ***

No, injuries are killing the defense. Fortunately, Muschamp left White a lot more toys to play with than he left Satterfield.
Beamer likes Satterfield and is happy with the job he is doing given the circumstances. Until he is not, all the haters will have to just deal with it.
