who would we "pound the rock" with? Woody? he would have been knocked out of the game after 10 plays. i would tend to agree with you back in the days of Dixon, Ballard and Robinson but not these guys.

It’s like some people have this romanticized notion of how football should be played. Back in the days of Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler, three yards and a cloud of dust. The Air Raid really upset that notion and they’re desperate to get back to it, even if it means we won’t be competitive because our O line can’t run block for shite.
I had thought before the season that would be a worst case scenario. we try a run heavy pro style offense, can’t run it because it fails to fit our roster. lose games and in desperation try to run a watered down air raid.
that would be ironic because we let all of the offensive staff go and yet we are still trying to run a similar system out of desperation.
