It seems like the polls are having a very difficult time maneuvering away from ranking then chronologically in win-loss order. Would love to see more of a power ranking based on honest opinions of the teams.

Don't understand it myself. However, it is easy enough to repair though ... Div 1 Teams only play Div 1 teams. A difficult concept to understand for the uneducated. NOT YOU but, others PLEASE display your ignorance and respond negatively.
