Golf would be cool because that means I am one of the best in the world, but I honestly might go with the 100M Running. Being the fastest guy in the world would be cool, especially being a white guy.

Yea, golf would be cool. Women’s Beach Volleyball would be on the list because I would soooooo play with myself!
The 100M in track and being able to say "Fastest Man in the World" would be cool.

It's not even close...DECATHLON...greatest athlete in the world!
Golf is the right answer if you are looking at what it means outside of the olympics (basketball would probably be second, assuming you actually belong on the team and are contributing and not a random guy warming the bench in this hypothetical scenario).
I think ignoring what it means outside of the olympics, decathlon would probably the coolest thing to win in. 10 different events to build suspense in is what makes it better to me.
I think they should make a reality show that has 2-3 athletes from each of the major countries compete with each other in EVERY Olympic sport that doesn’t absolutely require a team. I would watch.

All else being equal, I agree this would be the coolest. I was going to say basketball because of the potential money, but I see Usain Bolt has a reported net worth of $90 million.
Considering that was nearly 50 years ago that he won the decathlon, he do not look too shabby, even as a woman. The dude was a beast back in the day.
I figure someday I’ll be fit enough for the decathlon… **I'm on his diet but it hasn't helped me.

If Bruce had started transitioning as a child he/we would have never won that decathlon.

Triathlon for me. I used to do tris, loved it. I may need to pick it back up to lose some weight but this brownie my daughter baked tonight sure is good.
