The Dooz spin - they left because they were scared and they weren't big losses anyway.

Every team loses players to the portal but I'd say 22% of the roster is a bit over the average. Maybe the players left because the head coach is a dumbass.

Pitt is already in a lower revenue league with few movement options. The kids they do get they will overpay for. They probably won’t survive whatever the final form of college football becomes. This is violins on the Titanic.

Pat Narduzzi tells the ACC Network that the loss of 19 players to the portal actually made his locker room 'happier" and they were 'no gigantic loss" to the team. Full article in link below for some classic Narduzzi pipe dreams for this coming year.

I still believe if they kept that campus stadium instead of moving to the shared Steeler's facility they definitely would have been a more competitive program then now.
That was a huge mistake on their part for sure. They are like a homeless team wandering around from cardboard box to cardboard box looking for something to impress the other lower -tier teams.

But who really owns Acrimony Stadium? The Stillers? Pfft. pitt has more national championships than the Stillers have Super Bowl trophies. The Stillers rent pitt’s stadium.

Whatever. With revenue sharing Franklin should start saying the same thing. If PSU is paying you, you better deliver or get out. That's what the sport is now.
And why exactly should he say that publicly like Narduzzi? What purpose would that serve?
