I can only imagine what it's like in high school. I'm sure his classmates have a time with it.

I know whereof I speak. I am not at liberty to divulge, but I am 100% certain I have the oddest last name anyone here would have ever heard. Got it my whole life in school, but it never really bothered me. It's funny these days, though. Used to be whenever I would pay with check (when that was a thing) or credit card, sometimes cashiers would look at my last name and crack a joke or two. Nowadays, you can tell what they're thinking but everyone's afraid of being offensive. Every so often someone will ask "is that really your last name?" and I have to reassure them that it is and I don't mind the jokes since I've heard them all.
