and Newton would wait to see if he leaves or not- committing quickly to an OC that may be gone in a couple days is kind of dumb

Our offer will still be there in 7-10 days or so when the new Texas Tech coach is named. If he's still considering Auburn only if Malzahn stays there, why wouldn't he wait either way?
