Impact of recent transfer pickups?

Picked up OL Sidney Fugar from Western Illinois and LB Jaron Willis from Ole Miss over the weekend.

Willis was a 4* and top 200 player out of high school with an impressive offer list (Auburn, FSU, Arkansas, UF, LSU, Michigan, MSU, Nebraska, Tennessee, A&M, So Cal, Va Tech). Only had 1 appearance for Ole Miss this season so he's got 4 years. Hopefully he'll add some depth for us.

Can't tell too much about Fugar. He's big, 6'5", 330ish lbs.

Apparently Fla portal DB Tra'Vez Johnson's reunion visit with Gray wasn't enough to sway him as he committed to Mizzu.

I think we've added some solid pieces through the portal. While some have come from big schools such as Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, we can't underestimate the small school pickups (Just look at Juice Wells from JMU.) I know 2023 can be a rough year, but I do believe with the coaching staff in place as well as some of the younger players stepping up, I think we will continue to improve.
