I saw her at the Libert Bowl in early 80's with Survivor, Kansas, and REO Speedwagon. Yet another concert I vaguely remember.
What was the great show I was there as well. She stole the show. I could tell from how the audience was reacting they were not expecting her to be that damn good she had them eating out of her hand.

Not doubting you at all, but that doesn't match up with the stories I've heard about her through the years. Max effort and lots of time for fans.

Just listened to Bad Reputation 18 times while binge watching Freaks and Geeks on Amazon Prime. Pretty fun 80's nostalgia with before they were famous cast.

She’s a rocker! Seen her in I believe either’89-‘90 at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, believe she opened for Aerosmith, she didn’t hold nothing back! She’s one of the pioneers of the female rockers. Happy B-Day JJ! :)
Same tour, Jackson. It was Aerosmith, and she was great.

I saw her in concert a few weeks ago at Harrah's Cherokee. She put on a kick *** show. I'd forgotten how punk a lot of her stuff was, Green Day should be paying her royalties. Felt like I was back at a Lost Rabbit bonfire in 1984, except we we're all fat slobs with Gray hair. Except Joan, she still looked pretty damn good, and she can still play a guitar.

I've seen her many times, probably over 20 times. She's always been my favorite female rocker. First time was in 78 in The Runaways. They opened for the Ramones. I've seen her at the Dock on The Reservoir, Hattiesburg, Memphis, Atlanta, Astrodome, and many others.

In the movie the runaways..
Apparently the runaways were opening for Rush in the 70’s.
Something happened and rush insulted the runaways and they broke in where the rush instruments were stored and whizzed on en

She did a free (at least to the students) concert at what used to be the outdoor amp across from the football stadium. It was a friday night before a home game. Good times.
I was there too.

She was trying to get us to cheer for State and we all said that we were gonna lose.

Turns out we won.
