Iowa message board is a lot like the Panther Lair. They had themselves convinced that bad weather was going to save them....
they got their intestines ripped out.....but they deny that PSU is a good team........and move on to vow that they will "still" win the vaunted west (coastal) division title. Hell, some like their QB are already predicting victory in a rematch. When all logic fails....they just cry child abuse.

The Sandusky reference has become a telltale sign with some of these rivalries. You know we're kicking their *** when they have to stoop so low that they go there. That's all they have left. Notice the fanbases that use it the most. Pitt, Rutgers, MD...now IA.

+1. Even with their remaining schedule it's going to be hard for them to hit that mark. I mean their offense was as bad as our "dark years" offense. Maybe worse, I think we might have had better WR's and better RB's.
It’s absolutely mind-boggling that these events at these three schools are virtually ignored by everyone…..everyone!

Its not mind boggling at all. Penn State rolled over and played door mat in every single way. We gave the other schools the map of what not to do.

AI can be a funny thing.
But it's weird though. Iowa gets their collective azz handed to them but whoever did the AI still had to get in the obligatory Sandusky reference at the end. That's really all they have to fall back on if they want to cling to any shred of dignity.

They are also complaining that our defense cannot be ranked number 5 in the country. That should leave them with greater consternation to learn that after playing Iowa, the D is now number 1 in the country.

Iowa had like 2 first downs after the first quarter....both against our backup D in mop up. They cannot talk about other teams' defense.
